Union County football state championship playoff era history here; Years listed when each team last captured a state crown

Now that Hillside has won its first state championship since 1985, here is the list of when was the last year each team in Union County won a football state championship:

Plainfield, with a record of 0-4 in finals, Governor Livingston (0-2) and Dayton (0-1) are the only three schools in Union County that have not won a state championship in the playoff era: 1974-2017.
