There are several entertaining and exciting Union County football matchups this weekend.
On Friday, Sept. 23 Herm Shaw Field we have 2-0 Belvidere at 2-0 Roselle Park. Both teams have begun with two shutouts, Belvidere both at home and Roselle Park both on the road.
On Satuday, Sept. 24 at Arminio Field we have 2-0 Johnson at 2-0 Roselle. Johnson is coming off a 43-14 home win over a Bernards team that was averaging 54 points after two games. Roselle is averaging 53 points.
Union and Westfield both seek to go 3-0 two weeks before their showdown in Westfield Oct. 8. Union hosts Elizabeth Sept. 23, while Westfield hosts Franklin Sept. 24.
